Trip to Mount Taylor

                                    The trip to Mount Taylor

On Wednesday we went on a trip to Mount Taylor it was a beautiful and sunny day perfect for the trip. But first we had our lunch so we wouldn't starve when we get there. We Also went with our class neighbour room five. But after a bit it was time to go. We lined up and went to choose our buddies, some of room five was buddied with room six. But then we left and walked to Mount Taylor. We went past the soccer field, past the toilets but then we stopped at the skate park to relax and have a bit of fun. We also have to stay there to wait for some cardboard so we can side down the mountain with it.  But first we had to go up the mountain. It was steep, exhausting and hot. It was really rocky near the top and the middle. I was really tired when I got up there and before we could go down selected students had to stand and say their pepeha. But after that we got to slide down the mountain and felt the cool breeze in our face when slid down. After an hour or two we had to go back. It was a bit more hard because of the rocks eventually we got down and had some water.  Back where the skate park was, there was a playground there were slides climbing rocks and swings. After half an hour we left and returned back to our school. And that's when the lunch bell rang. So we ate the rest of our lunch and then did some work and went home.
